Removal of Unauthorized Structures in Tourism Areas……..

The Department of Coastal Conservation is preparing to remove unauthorized structures in the  Weligama – Mirissa, Dehiwela – Mt. Lavinia and Negombo coastal belts within next month.

K. Prabath Chandrakeerthi, the Director General of the Department of Coastal Conservation said that the demolitions will be carried out with the assistance of police and other relevant government institutions.
