Discussion Between the Electricity Engineers’ Union & Power Minister Today

As Public Utility Commission has not approved thus blocking implementation of the long term project which benefits the public, Electricity Engineers’ Union resorted to work to rule campaign.

Minister of Power reported to have submitted the project to the cabinet yesterday (9) and obtained approval.

In order to clarify and discuss the issue, Union representatives and the Minister of Power is scheduled to meet today (10). However the work to rule campaign will continue, union sources said.
