Matchbox Manufactures to Close Down Factories

Sri Lanka Matchbox Manufacturers’ Association said that due to lack of raw material chemicals they are forced to close down their factories. They alleged that the Government has failed to get down chemicals in a proper manner . When there was a shortage  for chemicals, the Government promised to get chemical imported and distributed. As it was not done so far shortage of box of matches cannot be avoided.
