Windy condition over the island and around the sea areas can be expected until 31^st of May.

Several spells of showers will occur in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and North-Western provinces and in Galle and Mathara districts.

Light showers can be expected in Mannar and Jaffna districts.

Fairly strong gusty winds up to 50 kmph can be expected over the island. Particularly in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, North-Western and North-central provinces and in Galle and Mathara districts.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
