Fire in a Lorry on Southern Expressway

A lorry was plying from Kadawatha to Matara caught fire at around 12.10 pm. between the 19.4 and 19.5 km posts of the Southern Expressway.

Police said that no one was injured in the incident.

The police officers at the Galanigama Interchange had intervened to douse the fire.
