ACMC Mohamed Ismail Sworn in as  a Parliamentarian.

Mohamed Ismail was sworn in as a member of parliament in the presence of Speaker Karu Jayasuriya today (8).

Mohamed Ismail of the All Ceylon Makkal Congress was proposed by the General Secretary of United National Party (UNP) to the parliamentary seat left vacant following the resignation of Mohamed Haneefa Mohamed Navani, who contested from the UNP and represented the All Ceylon Makkal Congress.

Relevant gazette notice was issued on Wednesday night (June 7).
