Ceylon Petroleum Private Bowser Owners Association Threatens to Strike

Ceylon Petroleum Private Bowser Owners Association (CPPBOA) has decided to launch a strike today, if the authorities continue to ignore their demand

Secretary of CPPBOA, Shantha Silva said that subsequent to the recent fuel hike, their association had requested the CPC to increase their payments by 12.5 percent. But authorities ignored it.

If no solution is found in today’s discussion scheduled to be held with the Petroleum Minister this evening, they will resort to strike action.
