BBS Gnanasara Thera Sentenced to Rigorous Imprisonment

Bodu Bala Sena (BBS) General Secretary Ven. Galagoda Atte Gnanasara Thera was sentenced to one year rigorous imprisonment ended in 6 months by the Homagama Magistrate Court today (14).

He was imposed a fine of Rs. 3,000 and also ordered the Gnanasara Thera to pay a compensation of Rs. 50,000 to Sandhya Eknaligoda.

He was alleged to have threatened Sandhya Eknaligoda, the wife of missing journalist Prageeth Eknaligoda.
