Person stabbed to death with sharp objects in Kotahena

 

A person was stabbed to death with sharp objects near a shop on Jampata Street, Kotahena this afternoon.

According to the Police media spokesman’s office, 4 persons who arrived in a three-wheeler committed the murder and fled, after leaving the three-wheeler at the crime scene.

Police stated that the suspects have been identified by now.

Police media spokesman’s office further stated that there are several charges made against the murdered victim in connection with murder, theft and several other incidents.

It has also been reported that the victim had served a prison term for some time and was released on bail one month ago.
