Restrictions on Traffic in Modara Area
According to the traffic police transportation in Modaara area will be restricted from Madampe Road, Mahawatta junction to Bogahana Junction to Modara, tomorrow (22) from 9 pm to 5 pm on 25th.
Due to this situation, the police have taken steps to introduce some alternative routes.
Motorists can travel from Bandarawela junction, Madampitiya Junction along the Ganemulla road to the Dhawala-Viharahamaya road, Pangananda road and vehicles coming from Pangananda Mawatha can travel through the Bogala junction to the Bloemendhal road.
Also, heavy vehicles coming from Negombo can be driven from Thotalaga junction to Madampitiya Road and towards Ingurukade junction and vehicles coming from Bloemendhal Road can be reached via Bogali Junction and Pangnhananda Mawatha along the route 178 on bus route Bloemandhal and Arthur Silva Mawatha.
Police say that the Welsh junction can be reached by this road.
