Suspect Arrested with Heroin and Hashish in BIA

Police Narcotics Bureau arrested a 57 year old passenger while attempting to smuggle drugs including heroin, Ice and Hashish worth Rs. 7 million at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) today morning (28).

The person who had arrived from Chennai had taken 320 grams of heroin and 52 grams of ice and 230 grams of Hashish.

The drugs were taken into Police Narcotic Bureau’s custody.
