Mahinda Samarasinghe Appointed as SLFP’s New Media Spokesman

Ports and Shipping Minister Mahinda Samarasinghe has been appointed as the new Media Spokesman of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party.

The decision was taken at a meeting of Sri Lanka Freedom Party officials at the President’s official residence yesterday (02), headed by President Maithripala Sirisena.

MP Dilan Perera is one among 16 MPs now sit in the opposition, who had previously acted as media spokesman of the party. Hence, Mahinda Samarasinghe has been appointed as the new Media Spokesman.
