Mattala International Airport a Joint Venture Between Sri Lanka and India

A special discussion was held between srilanka and Indian representatives regarding mattala international airport yesterday (04)

At the discussion, it was agreed upon that the Indian government will hold 70 percent of shares while Sri Lanka holds 30 percent, said the deputy minister of transport Ashok Abeysinghe.

He said, Mattala International Airport will be run as a joint venture between Sri Lanka and India.
