Prasanna Ranaweera summoned before Parliament Privilege Committee

Joint Opposition (JO) Gampaha District Parliamentarian Prasanna Ranaweera has been summoned to appear before the Parliament Privilege Committee on Monday (16) over his unruly behaviour in Parliament.

Ranaweera was accused of alleged misbehaviour in Parliament as he urged the Speaker to take action against former State Minister Vijayakala Maheswaran’s recent statement on LTTE.
