Minister Rishad Bathiudeen Introduces another Public-Centric Project to Weli-oya

 

Minister Rishard Bathiudeen toured the Weli-oya region in the Wanni District as part of his election campaign yesterday (6). On his tour he stated that he would initiate a garment factory in the area to address the unemployment issue in the region.

He stated that this would create in excess of 1000 job opportunities.

He further elaborated that this was not simply an election promise but was already a Cabinet approved project.

The Minister stated that the Weli-oya regional secretariat office was one of his initiatives and he would soon introduce a local council as well implement a solution to the housing problems in the area.
