(FASTNEWS|COLOMBO) – Action will be taken with respect to filing lawsuits and release on bail, the Ministry of Justice and Prison Reforms said.
The Ministry issuing a statement regarding the protest carried out by a group of inmates of the Welikada Prison, stated that discussions should be held with Attorney General’s (AG) Department, the Department of Probation, and the Department of Police and necessary intervention carried out.
