Police initiate investigations in search of Midigama suspects

 

Police have initiated investigations in search of another two suspects in connection with the assault on two police officers at Midigama in Weligama and inflicting injuries on them.

Police media spokesman ASP Ruwan Gunasekera said that suspects in connection with this incident have already been arrested.

The two police officers have gone to the area in order to settle a clash between two groups, and they were assaulted on their way by a group of unknown persons.
