FORMER WARAKAPOLA CHAIRMAN GIVEN SUSPENDED JAIL SENTENCE

FASTNEWS | COLOMBO – Former Chairman of the Warakapola Pradeshiya Sabha, SLFP Dedigama Organizer Keerthi Wijethunga has been handed over a 5 year suspended jail term with an imprisonment of 6 months.

This is over causing injuries to an individual in Niyadurupola in Warakapola on the 10th of December 2008.

The case was heard at the Thulhiriya courts.
