(FASTNEWS|COLOMBO) – The Up-Country People’s Front (UCPF) has extended support to the Leader of United National Party (UNP) Ranil Wickremesinghe.
UCPF Leader Velusami Radhakrishnan and Parliamentarian Aravinda Kumar met Wickremesinghe on Monday (29) at Temple Trees.
Radhakrishnan and Kumar who were rumoured to have pledged support to Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa, clarified that they only made a courtesy call to the Prime Minister but had not extended their support.
