Galle Magistrate Nilupuli Lankapura allowed former Defense Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa and three others to travel abroad, releasing their passports for a period of one month.
This order was given considering a motion filed by them.
On March 9, the Galle Magistrate’s Court issued an order preventing former Defense Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa, ex-Navy Chief Somathilake Dissanayake and two others from travelling abroad, regarding the Avant Garde ‘floating armory’ investigations.
