Presidential election can hold after 2019 Jan 09 – Mahinda Deshapriya

(FASTNEWS|COLOMBO) – Elections Commission Chairman Mahinda Deshapriya said in a  function held in Galle that the President is able to call for a presidential election at any time after the 09th of January 2019.

 Further he stated that he believes that the holding of provincial council elections will be expedited.
