(FASTNEWS|COLOMBO) – A Hungarian National was reportedly abused by a driver of a van in Galle on Tuesday (19).
The victim, who arrived in the country on 25 December had hired a van to pick-up her fiancé who arrived in the country yesterday.
It is reported that an individual who posed as the driver of the van had abused the foreigner and fled the area.
The victim has directed for a medical check-up at the Karapitiya Teaching Hospital, while the Hikkaduwa Police commenced an investigation to arrest the suspect.
