(FASTNEWS|COLOMBO) – The Department of Meteorology on Sunday (07) issued a heat advisory for several provinces in Sri Lanka.
On the apparent North-ward relative motion of the sun, it is going to be directly over the latitudes of Sri Lanka during 05 to 15 April.
The nearest areas of Sri Lanka over which the sun is overhead today, are Nalluruwa, Bellapitiya, Bothale, Kahawatta, Kadurugalla, Konketiya, Habessa, and Dombagahawela about 12.11 noon, the Met. Dept. further stressed.
