Showery condition expected to enhance – Met. Dept.

(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – Prevailing showery condition over the island is expected to enhance to some extent during next few days, the Department of Meteorology forecasted.

Meanwhile, showers or thundershowers will occur over most parts of the island today (23).

Very heavy falls above 150 millimetres are likely at some places in Southern, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Western Provinces, the Meteorology Department stated, adding that fairly heavy falls above 75 millimetres are likely at some places in North-Western, Northern, Uva and Eastern Provinces.
