Court orders banks to release account details of Pujith, Hemasiri

(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – Banks and financial institutions had been directed to submit details of four bank accounts of former Defence Secretary Hemasiri Fernando and former IGP Pujith Jayasundera to the CID.

Colombo Chief Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne made the order following a request made by Deputy Solicitor General Dilipa Peiris, who appeared in court for the Attorney General.
