Former First Lady’s blessings to UNF candidate [VIDEO]

(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – Leader of the United National Party (UNP), Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe today (03) took to the stage of the UNP Special Convention with the Presidential hopeful, Minister Sajith’s mother, the former First Lady Hema Premadasa.

Deputy Leader of the UNP, Minister Sajith Premadasa has been unanimously ratified as the Presidential Candidate of the United National Front (UNF), during the Special Convention at the Sugathadasa Stadium in Colombo.

The Premier addressing the Special Convention stated that the UNP, the UNF and its affiliated parties that approve the Party’s policies recommended and unanimously approved the decision to nominate Minister Premadasa.
