Viyalendiran pledges support to Gotabaya

(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – Batticaloa District parliamentarian S. Viyalendran, who represented the Tamil National Alliance (TNA), said that he would support the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) led Joint opposition (JOs) presidential candidate Gotabhaya Rajapaksa in the forthcoming presidential election.

Speaking to a prominent online news portal in the isle, he has stated that this decision was taken based on the contribution made by the former President Mahinda Rajapaksa to the development of the Eastern Province.
