Investigation into Misuse of Armed Forces for Treasure Hunting by a Former Minister

In historical places, country’s 100 years treasures were kept under the ground and within stones in the North Western, North Central and Central Provinces. One of the powerful Minister of the previous regime made use of modern technology and  identified treasure hidden places. He made use of the armed forces  to dig these historical places and removed treasures. To break rocks where treasure was hidden , under the pretext  of breaking stones for road construction, he broke rocks and robbed treasures, alleged Ranjan Ramanayake. He made a complaint in this regard to the FCID. Presidential Commission on Bribery and Corruption and FCID have commenced investigation into this allegation.
