(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – The National Building Research Organisation (NBRO) issued a landslide warning today (11) for Balangoda, Imbulpe and Weligepola Divisional Secretariat (DS) Division in the Ratnapura District, and Haldummulla DS Division in the Badulla District.
The NBRO said since the rainfall within the past 24 hours has exceeded 75mm, if the rain continues, the public should watch out for landslides and ground subsidence in the aforementioned areas.
