Mr. Rishad Bathiudeen reappointed as Minister of Industry and Ccommerce

Mr. Rishad Bathiudeen was re-appointed today as the Minister of Industry and Commerce today. He also held the portfolio of the Ministry of Industry in the governments of Mahinda Rajapaksa and the January government of President Maithripala Sirisena.

Earlier Mr. Rishad held the portfolio of the Minister of Resettlement and Disaster Relief Services, and under this Ministry he was successful in resettling within a short period of time over 300,000 Tamil refugees displaced by the Terrorist war.

Minister Bathiudeen first entered Parliament on 5th December 2001from the Vanni District and since then he represents Vanni district uninterruptedly.
