Price Revision of 6 Essential Food items

Srilanka Consumer Affairs Authority has fixed maximum selling prices of Mysore Dharl, Potatoe,Big and Small onion, Dried chillie, Chicken and Wheat Flour.

Accordingly from today the following items should be sold  at prices fixed by the Consumer Affairs Authority:

1 Kg Mysore Dharl                       –                       Rs 190.00

1 Kg Potatoe                                  –                       Rs145.00

1 Kg Big / Small  Onion               –                      Rs155.00

1 Kg Dried Chillie                          –                     Rs355.00

1 Kg Packeted Wheat Flour          –                    Rs95.00

1 Kg Chicken                                    –                   Rs480.00

Consumers are requested to complain if sold at higher prices.
