(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – Prabuddha Premalal right hand opener of Ibbagamuwa Central College became the first double centurion of the season in the ‘Singer Trophy’ Under 19 inter Schools Cricket tournament yesterday.

Prabuddha Premalal made an unbeaten 204 runs in 254 balls with 16 boundaries and 10 sixes in the first innings against Azhar Central College Akurana. He scored 84 runs in the second innings.Sabeer Ahmed of Azhar Akurana made a ton against Ibbagamuwa Central. Chathum Wijesundara spinner of Bandarawela Central College took 11 wickets for 109 runs against Badulla Central College.

Mahinda Rajapaksha NS Homagama beat Ananda Sasthralaya Kotte by innings and 120 runs. Other matches drawn at Akurana and Badulla.
