Haj Festival on September 24th

The Colombo Grand Mosque announced yesterday that the Hajj festival will be celebrated on September 24th. Accordingly the first day of Dhul-Hijjah will be on Today, September 15, Arafah on September 23 and ‘Eid Al-Adha on September 24.

‘Eid Al-Adha, or “Feast of Sacrifice”, is one of the two most important Islamic celebrations, together with ‘Eid Al-Fitr.
