Excise officer arrested while illegally transporting ethanol

(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – An individual who had been illegally transporting ethanol to a private company has been arrested in the area of Pamunugama.

The arrestee was identified as a sergeant attached to the Department of Excise, the Police said.
