Over 300 diagnosed with COVID-19 in past 24-hours

(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – As of this morning (29), a total of 335 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24-hours.

All of the patients were from locally-identified affectees, the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) stated.

The total number of COVID-19 positive cases reported from Minuwangoda apparel factory stands at 5,731 by 6.00 this morning. Among them, 1,041 are factory employees and other 4,690 are locally-identified contacts of those apparel factory-infected employees.
