Mervyn Silva’s son Malaka Silva misbehaved with a woman inside ODEL on July 29, 2013. Followed by this incident Malaka Silva was attacked at ODEL ‘s car park by 12 people.
Police investigations into the incident were launched in February 2015 and the footage was under the judicial custody.
The Colombo Magistrate’s Court yesterday ordered the release of the CCTV footage pertaining to the assault on Mervyn Silva’s son Malaka Silva at the Odel car park in 2013, to the Cinnamon Gardens Police.
