Two individuals including one-year-old child were killed and another 10 persons were injured after a bowser collided with a tractor in Anuradhapura on the Anuradapura-Kurunegala main road this morning.
Police stated that the 12 persons were travelling in the tractor, when the incident occurred and the bowser had crashed with the tractor from behind.
The victims were residents of Hindogama.
The injured were rushed to the Anuradhapura Hospital. The driver of the bowser had been arrested by the Police, police sources stated.
