Port City Project Discussion by PM

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, who is currently visiting China is to engage in discussions with Chinese officials in regard  to the Port City Project.

Deputy Minister of National Policy and Economic Affairs, Niroshan Perera while speaking to the BBC  said the Premier will discuss progressive measures that will be beneficial to Sri Lanka.

The Prime Minister earlier noted that Sri Lanka is of the view that Sri Lankan investments with China should only be beneficia,l while adding the country does not follow an anti-Chinese policy.

Meanwhile Prime Minister Wickremesinghe , who left the island last afternoon for China with a 15 member delegation has reached China to a warm welcome by Chinese officials.
