36 year old woman hacked to death

Police have been investigations regarding murder of woman who was found hacked to death in Madatugama. The woman was in critical condition when found and was pronounced dead upon admission to the Dambulla hospital.

The police have identified the killer as the 36 year old victim’s illicit lover.

The Police media unit stated that the suspect has fled the area. Further investigations are underway.
