Bodu Bala Sena (BBS) has deplored the attack on the Hewaheta, Rahatungoda home of Sri Lanka Hindu Conference (SLHC) president N. Arunkanth.
Issuing a statement, BBS Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr. Dilantha Withanage states that BBS Chairperson Ven. Galagodaatte Gnanasara Thera is saddened by the attacks against the Hindu Conference which promotes national unity against extremism and terrorism and plays a major role for the development of the Hindu community in the country.
The BBS urged the government and the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to ensure their safety and also to punish those responsible for the attack.
