wait and see whether we give more Minister or deputy Minister Postings- Rajitha

The Government will not be dissolved anytime soon stated Minister Rajitha Senaratne, if there was such a plan in motion we would not be giving out Deputy Minister Postings.

The Minister made this statement at his weekly media briefing yesterday (11).

When questioned whether further Minister Postings or Deputy Minister Posting will be handed out the Minister replied vaguely saying that only time will hold the answer for that and to wait and see.

He further stated that he will look into the United Peoples Freedom Party (UPFA) posting advertisements requesting people to participate in their Matara Rally to support former President Mahinda Rajapakse.

He elaborated that UPFA couldn’t do such at whim without prior knowledge or consent of other Poitical parties.
