In Bangaladesh IS reported to have infiltered into a hotel where , foreigners gather captured 40 hostages. When then terrorists started killing hostages, Bangaladesh security forces carried out a rescue operation. At the end 20 foreign hostages were found dead. Dead comprised of 9 Italians, 7 Japanese , 2 Bangaladesians, i American and 1 Indian. Other twenty were wounded and admitted to hospital.
Followed by this incident, Srilankan Defence Secretary has advised the security forces to be on alert. He has advised the security at the airport to be cautious in regard to IS.
In the meantime , Bangaladesh Minister of Local Government, Asathus Saman Khan, announced that the terrorist attack was carried out not by the IS, but by Jamath Ul Mujahideen , a local terrorist outfit banned by the Bangaladesh Government.
