State Ministers Security drugged with biscuits then mugged

Police have commenced investigations into a person who has drugged two people and made off with jewelry and money that was in their possession.

One of the victims is in the employ of a State Minister as Private Security personnel whilst the other is a broker.  The two men were drugged with laced biscuits.

The suspect in question who had claimed to have returned to the country from Canada had requested the Security officer to help him find a piece of property. While en route to see a plot of land in Kosgama the suspect had given the two victims biscuits upon which eating both persons had become unconscious.

The suspect had made off with a gold chain and 6000 rupees belonging to the broker and a 3pound gold chain and 3 rings the Security officer was wearing.

Police state that investigations are underway to bring this culprit to justice.
