Traffic Congestion at Galle Road in Panadura

Residents of Panadura demanding recommencement of stopped reconstruction of the old Galle road is carrying out a protest demonstration near the Panadura bridge, which created traffic congestion. Motorist using the Galle road are inconvenienced.

It is relevant to mention that repair work on old Galle road was commenced during Mahinda’s regime and said to have been stopped after the Government change.
