Coal purchase for Nuraicholai Thermal power station was disputed in the past. It was alleged that there were irregularities and fraud in offering the tender. Government appointed a three member committee led by Professor K.K.Y.W. Perera to probe into the allegations. This report is expected to be placed before the Parliament today said Deputy Minister Ajith de Perera.
