Land Surveyors Union Poised to Demonstration

 Government surveyors union has announced  that  it will call for an island wide strike,  if the Government does not cancel the gazette notification issued to engage  private trainers to train surveyors. It alleged  this is an infiltration into the rights of the surveyor department.

To demand cancellation of this gazette notification, a demonstration is organized near the surveyor department in Narahenpita, said its president W.M. D.P. Udukoda.
