Private Bus Operators to Strike If Increased Fine of Rs 2500 Not Removed

Lanka Private Bus Owners’ Association Chairman Gemunu Wijeratne said, yesterday that  the new proposal of the Finance Minister  to increase the minimum fine to Rs 2500 will badly affect  private bus operators. Hence, he demanded removal of this increase fine. If not private bus operators will go on strike indefinitely  as from next week.
