Two Million Jobs Within Next Year: Minister Gamage

Minister of Primary Industries,  Daya Gamage stated that a project worth 500 thousand billion US dollars will be implemented with the  World Bank assistance  to assist local entrepreneurs.

The government hopes to provide a loan of 5 million rupees and a grant of another 5 million rupees for an entrepreneur,   who has a capital of one million rupees under this programme. Minister disclosed main objective of this initiative is to generate 2 million jobs within next year.
