Party Leaders to Discuss About LG Elections

Last week part leaders met  in Parliamentary complex. Followed by this, Political party leaders scheduled to meet today to discuss about conducting  the upcoming Local Government Elections.

It was agreed to hold the Local Government Election under the new electoral system especially after the report on Delimitation by the National Delimitation Commission was handed over.

The delimitation report will be gazetted before the 31st of January. The gazette notification  will  be brought to the attention of the party leaders today.
