Probe on Several Ministers & Cabinet Reshuffle

Minister of Health Rajitha Senaratna  while addressing an event yesterday said, that the  President Maithripala Sririsena is to take some important political decisions in the upcoming week.

After Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe returns to the country this week, there is a possibility that President Sirisena will appoint several presidential commissions  to probe some alleged large scale misappropriations that have surfaced under the present government.

The sources further revealed that the decision to change the Cabinet portfolios was taken after a careful study of the allegations raised against some of the present ministers. Several ministers in the government too have hinted at the changes at several press briefings during last couple of days.
